Sunday May 22nd we have Explode’s very own Pool party!!!!
We will need to meet at Jims house (Ridgedale house, Lower Sandhurst Road, RG40 3TH) at 5pm for 2 ½ hours of wet & wild fun!!! (finish 7:30)
Due to numbers we will probably do it in 3 x 30 minutes shifts (Years 6 then 7 then 8). The rest of the time we will be playing football, playing dodge ball etc!!!
Cost – FREE!!!
All you need to do is ask your parents/guardian to fill out the response slip below (unless you are not registered which you will need to fill out a consent form – see Simon) and pass it back to me by NO later than Friday May 21st .

EXPLODE & FLARE
On Sunday 26th June we have Taste!!!
Taste is a band from the midlands that will be performing live on this evening!!
It will be at normal Explode time and is guaranteed fun for all 10-18 year olds.
This will be an action-packed event with music, games, videos, songs and a challenging message from the band.
The cost of the evening is just £1 – tickets can be purchased in advance on Sunday evenings or on the door!

This is gonna be AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are off to England’s Biggest and Brightest indoor Adventure Play Area for Teenagers!!!!
And we have booked it out as a private party just for YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep,On Saturday July 16th we will meet at 5:30pm at FBC and head off to sunny Portsmouth for 90 minutes of guaranteed physical fun for EVERYONE!!!!
Including death slides, ball pools plus four levels of assault course!!!
We will arrive back approx 10:30 and the cost of the whole evening including transport and entrance to the playzone will be just £10!
(You may want to bring a few extra pounds for a drink and some chips for the journey home!!)

What’s It all about?
Fort Rocky is a fun-filled, activity weekend, designed to give young people an amazing time away from home with their mates. There is so much to do and experience at Fort Rocky, with an action packed programme that has something for everyone to enjoy. Here is a list of some of the things typically offered!

Who’s It For?
It’s for any young person aged between 11 and 14. (School years 6 to 9 )
How Much?
The cost of the entire weekend which includes food, transport and all activities is £100 per person.
When and Where?
We are going to the biggest of the Fort Rocky sites in Kidderminster. We will be leaving on Friday 8th and returning on Sunday 10th July.
What do I do if I am interested?
Fill out the attached parental consent form and return it to Simon with your £20 deposit no later than Sunday 22nd May.

EXPLODE - End Of Term Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A prom party is one of the greatest things that are looked forward when young people are finishing their school year!
So on Sunday 17th we have an Explode Prom evening which will be just for you!!
You will need to come as smart as possible!!!
(Definatly NO jeans allowed!!)
The evening will kick off at normal time – 6pm where you will be greeted with a glass of punch then the prom will begin!!
Included in the evening will be food, music and games
The cost of the evening is just £1

Yep, on Saturday June 25th for one night only we are back off to Soul Survivor, Watford for an evening of awesome Worship and quality teaching from Mike Pilavachi!!
Everyone is welcome and it will be an ideal event to bring friends along!! We will be meeting at FBC @ 5:30pm and arriving back approx 11:30pm.
The cost of the evening is absolutely FREE but we will need a response slip filled in by your parent/guardian if you are under 18. Please give your response slip in NO LATER than Sunday June 12th.
FLARE @ SOUL SURVIVOR
What is Soul Survivor?
Soul Survivor is a five day event where thousands of young people gather together to journey with God.
The main focus of the events are morning and evening meetings where we spend time worshiping God with music, learning more about Him through His word (the Bible) and waiting on the Holy Spirit to change us and equip us to live lives for Him.
As well as main meetings and seminars we have a bunch of venues from chilled out cafes through to awesome gigs... it's pretty fun!
Dates and Basic Info
The dates for Soul Survivor week C are Sunday the 14th till Thursday the 19th of August. We shall meet at the FBC Centre on the Sunday at 9:15am to arrive at Shepton Mallet at approx 12:30am. And on the Friday returning we shall leave Shepton Mallet at 9am to get back at the FBC Centre at approx Midday. It will cost a mere £145 which will include food and transport.
This week will be absolutely FANTASTIC, full of awesome stuff so be ready to be blown away into orbit!!!!
Great bands will be playing like 29th Chapter, Dweeb, LZ7 and some fantastic preachers like Mike Pilavachi.
What To Bring
The items you need to bring are as follows: plate, mug, bowl, spoon, knife, fork, TENT!!, 1 SMALL piece of luggage (girls), Bible, notebook and pen, towel, toiletries, pocket money, wellies, waterproofs, DEODERANT, sports clothes and a torch.
