We got here!

 This is our first post after the end of (full) day 1. 

 We had a pretty good trip on Saturday even though the flight was delayed for a hour. The day took a turn for the worst when we realised we got to the hotel with only 6 mins left of the rugby world cup final, and subsequently even worse when we realised we weren't gonna win!! :(  Nevertheles, we had a good evening and the hotel is fine and all is well. :)

Today (Sunday) we spent the morning at Louise' church where we met all of her lovely colleugues and friends!  Matt took the sermon and some of us also took the childrens group which was good fun.  After the service we had lnice unch with the whole church followed by a short tour of the local district / area where the church is based, including a breif look at the 'Roma Village' area which we'll be visiting later on in the week.

We then took an interesting "hop on hop off" tour of Tirana, driving to various places in a minibus and then walking to a location where we were picked up again. There's lots to see and take in and it was a great way to get a vibe of the city and the people. We're taking loads of video with the intention of making a short film of our visit which will hopefully serve as a good reminder of our trip, but also give you guys the chance to see what it's like out here.

No, injuries or major illness, however Lewis' ears hurt again after the flight and he had trouble getting to sleep last night becasue of it. Please pray that his ears heal quickly and he won't have such a rough time on the landing when we come home.
