The FBC Centre was offically opened in 2010 by members of our local community. This marked the end of an almost 20 year journey and dream from the family of Finchampstead Baptist Church to establish a presence in Finchampstead that blesses our community. The vast majority of the funding for the building came from the congregation of the church. We were also thankful to recieve funding from Sport England, Community Buildings Fund and Sure Start to help us build a resource that is 'for our community'.
As well as the home of Finchampstead Baptist Church, the FBC Centre is home to various groups and organisations including: Wokingham Libraries, Wokingham Children's Centre, Finchampstead Parish Council & Finchampstead Police. And each weeks various clubs and activities take place here with everything from baby college to bowls for the over 50's.
However you enagage with us, whatever brings you to the FBC Centre, whether you come to church on Sunday, a weekday coffee, or hire one of our spaces, our goal is for you to recieve a warm, friendly welcome, excellent customer care and for you to enjoy your time with us.
