Sunday 27th September
Hey all,
Well we’re in October, although the sun is still out and I haven’t yet switched the heating on!
This Sunday we’re continuing our new series called Rate of Return. Songs this week are:
I Thank God
What a God
So Will I (100 Billion X)
Worthy Of It All
All Hail King Jesus
And all songs are in our FBC playlist below on Spotify.
We use music across most of our different areas across Sunday and during the week, and have a dedicated worship team who lead us in our musical worship. We sing worship songs as a way to connect with God, to express gratitude, and to prepare for hearing God's word. There are many instances in the books of the bible where God's people are instructed to praise God through music; all through history music has been used as a way of worshipping our God from hymns, choral settings and Gregorian chants through to gospel music and modern contemporary songs, as we use at FBC. Below are some worship playlists that cover many of these sources, including the songs we use on regular rotation at FBC, some old school classic worship songs that many of us have grown up with, through to some modern worship songs which are popular with churches around the world. Have a listen!
Look forward to seeing you all Sunday!
