What is this role all about?
Our Kids Workers enjoy playing and learning alongside our children aged 5-10 years. You will be happy to support the setting up and packing away of our Loft space that we use for the service. You will take an active role in the session by joining in with the worship, games and activity time whilst being a kind, positive and loving role model to the children.
Why is this role important?
We want our Kids ministry to be inspiring and delivered with love and we need confident Kids Workers as they will play a key part in this. Jesus values children immensely and we want all children to feel part of something special on a Sunday morning.
Who is this role for?
Someone who has a real desire to work with children and who, personally, is seeking to continue to develop their own faith and give you an opportunity to demonstrate the good news of Jesus to our next generation. You will have good communication skills and you will enjoy working as part of a team.
What is the expectation for this role?
- A curiosity about faith and a keen interest to develop this further.
- A successful DBS application.
- Completed safeguarding training from FBC.
- Serving at least once in a four-week period.
- Following details in the planning provided by the Kids & Family worker.
- Open to training and feedback.
- Arrive at FBC for 9:30.
