The Reaching Out Team connects with individuals through simple, thoughtful gestures to help them feel seen, remembered, and valued. This is particularly focused on a significant life event, or when someone has not attended church for a while.

This role requires a commitment to kindness, consistency, and sensitivity, ensuring that each message helps individuals feel valued, remembered, and connected.
- Keep track of key dates, significant life events or periods of absence from church.
- Be able to respond when something comes up.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure consistency and avoid duplication.
- Write and send cards on behalf of FBC.
- Communicate with simple, genuine, and heartfelt messages.
- Ensure all communication reflects warmth, care, and inclusivity.
- Be sensitive to individual circumstances when writing messages.
- Work as part of a team to ensure no one is overlooked.
- Share updates or relevant information with the team where appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy at all times.
