What is this role all about?
Our Stage hosts lead the Sunday Service in the main hall. The aim is to ‘host’ people through the experience, helping them to navigate what is going on through helping to understand what we are doing and why we are doing it. This invovles things like welcoming people at the start of the service and helping to transition through the various elements of the service.
Why is this role important?
We want our Sunday Services to be helpful and accesible for people who are new to faith or returning to faith, as well as for people who are a regular part of the church family. Stage Hosts help people to feel welcomed, inviting them to participate in the service and to identify their next steps.
