What is this role all about?
The Welcome Team is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors and members as they arrive at church. This includes providing information, directing people to key areas, helping with seating, and creating a friendly, inviting atmosphere from the moment people walk through the door.
Why is this role important?
The Welcome Team is often the first point of contact for newcomers and regular attendees, setting the tone for their experience. A warm and attentive welcome helps people feel valued and at ease, making it more likely they’ll return and engage with the church community.

Who is this role for?
This role is for people who are friendly, approachable, and hospitable. It’s perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with others, have a heart for service, and want to make newcomers feel welcome and comfortable.
What is the expectation for this role?
The expectation is to greet everyone with a smile, offer assistance where needed, and ensure visitors feel cared for. You'll need to arrive early to help with setup and stay after services to assist with any last-minute needs. A welcoming attitude, good communication skills, and reliability are essential. You will join a team and welcome once a month from 09:30-12:00.
